Mobile app stores were all the rage. AT&T wanted to make one, but they intended to go beyond the  standard app store UI, commonly focused on promotions and categories. The took a few different approaches along the way ... 

For all content below, I wrote the headlines, managed the content strategy and developed the editorial calendar.


App Center Evolution (ACE)

This content portal was a magazine-style app discovery experience where timely and relevant content drove the apps featured. ACE debuted at CES, but never launched.

Get hand-picked app recommendations that tell a story! That was the idea behind the Features App experience, which launched as a pre-installed widget on Android devices. AT&T launched a more streamlined version a bit later. Both had a successful run, but have since been shutdown.
